How well do you really know your partner?
Sadly, the truth is many
of us never ask enough questions in the early stages of our relationships to
truly know our partners. Knowing your partner thoroughly helps bring out the key
issues that affect the quality of your relationship so that you can analyze and
reconcile differences before they manifest as problems. Michael Webb has a book,
1000 Questions for Couples that asks nearly every important question you
need the answers to. If you don't know Michael, he's a best selling author and
has appeared in many newspapers and magazines as well as on Oprah. Michael
really knows his stuff when it comes to love and romance and I can't recommend
his work highly enough if you're wanting to improve your relationship!
Playing 50 Questions is all fine and good, but you might not want to do it under a bright light at home, so I would also recommend Michael's "300 Creative Dates." Michael will explain to you 300 absolutely awesome dates to take your special someone on. These are the dates that will be stories he or she tells a decade from now!
Communication Makes or Breaks a Relationship!
Your ability to effectively communicate with your partner is one of the most critical factors to the success or failure of a relationship. Trust me when I say I know this because I've been on the bad side of the fence on this issue! That's why I want to tell you about a phenomenally helpful book that assisted me tremendously in learning to communicate with my wife. Susie and Otto Collins give you 100% applicable techniques for breaking down the barriers in your relationships and establishing honest, loving communication in their groundbreaking ebook, "Communication Magic." This book will not only make you able to communicate better with your partner, but with everyone else in your life as well!
Sometimes Love Isn't Enough.
If you've tried everything and it still isn't working, you're faced with a decision that no one wants to make. You have to evaluate the relationship and decide to stay or go. If you decide to stay, then you have to figure out how to make things better, and sometimes that isn't easy to do. If you want to save your marriage even if your partner doesn't feel the same way, there is a book that can help you. Lee Baucom, P.H.D. wasn't always as successful as he wanted to be as a marriage counselor, but he finally did something about it. “Save The Marriage” is exactly what his book can do for you. This isn't some lame attempt to go to therapy for years, only to return to the arguments that brought you to therapy in the first place. If you are this far down, you owe it to yourself to at least read this book and try the action steps in it. Even if your marriage ends, you'll have the peace of mind knowing you did everything you could.
Instead of Adding Insult to Injury, Why not Divorce the Smart Way!
I met Michael Daniel last year. I have to say he is one of the nicest men I know. Based on his experience in going through not only the pain of divorce but the expense, Michael has written an excellent book on how to at least spare yourself some of the expenses that lawyers tack on to an already heart wrenching experience. If you want to skip the school of hard knocks when it comes to ending your marriage, you should really read “How To Legally Save Thousands On Your Divorce.”
