At Least You Have Your Health?

 

Diet, Rest and Exercise...ok, but who can give me the right answers!

Have you ever asked yourself this question? I know I sure have. With so many “experts” telling us a low carb diet is right or a low carb diet is wrong, everything causes cancer and all of the other hype we here, who could know what to believe? I've done a lot of research on this topic because I am a cancer survivor. Having been told I had two years to live without surgery, I decided really fast that I wanted to make sure I got and kept control of my health. Particularly after surgery I was interested in regaining my muscles and fitness. I had lost the tone in my abs, so I needed a good ab workout. If you check out the physical fitness link, you'll find some of my suggestions for good material to study.


The basics of health are to eat a balanced diet, get 6-8 hours of sleep a night and to exercise regularly. If health is a big concern for you, I can't recommend Dr. Gabe and Diana Mirkin's site enough! I once asked them how to truly know what information is correct when it comes to health topics. Diana wrote me back and said that Dr. Mirkin admitted there were no clear cut answers, that health is more of an art than a science. Ever since that day, I've trusted them as a first source of information. I still do quite a bit of research and you can find some web related information by exploring the Health links to the left.
